Why Continue Despite the Outcome: A Reflection on Course Goals
I would have to preface this discussion by firstly denoting that because this is the first time in my life to further my academic studies at a collegiate level, it has indeed prepared me to be an online student. Though, there is more to my reception of studies with Liberty University than merely just stating this obvious fact. It is how I am now going to implement this experience for the better in growing in myself and ultimately to set a goal for providing others the same accessibility and possibility to do the same in the name of God. The utilization for good time and energy management is and probably will be my most sought after skill to work on. This has always been a challenge for me no matter when and no matter where. The placement for time expectancy in almost any situation preemptively puts me in a state of unsettling nature. I would suggest training myself to perhaps discover personal skill mechanisms and techniques that best correlate to my own work ethic would provide assistance for time and energy management. In addition, to also being comfortable with putting myself outside my comfort zone with my educational studies and learn from that to better construct time.
Two major pieces of resources I absolutely love would be the online eBook library and the Logo Bible Study app. These help fuel the work I wish to provide for completing my assignments the best I can. The two sources particularly I have fun browsing and have a great interest learning with anyway. So, every time I am confronted with using them, I am excited to find the material work I need. As for the other software, I am more comfortable and reliant on the ability to use them and not shy away from them as much. Since I try to have reliable sources at my disposal when I do my personal reading and writing anyway most the time, if not all the time, this allows me to promptly have access to resources and tools I need whenever a particular onset of ideas or burst of inspiration hits me. I have quick access to online tools to be readily available at any chance for my literary insights.
I certainly understand more now what I am up against. Not just in my recent years, but long before now I had always been highly discouraged of beginning higher education for many different reasons. One would be that of personal perspectives on the matter for enrolling in governed-educational systems, however, this topic alone would drive me to create a several-paged essay on the matter. Secondly, would simply be the fear and guilt had I not completed my studies and graduated. The sense of fear in failure or incompletion keeps me in a state of like some strange, long, and dismal sickness. It doesn't affect me as much now since I have a solid introduction to the work phase of online education thanks to both the Veteran's Affairs education assistance and Liberty University's accommodating resources and benefits.
What has me even more motivated now than ever before, that is if I even had it in the first place, would be the personal and spiritual reason or push of interest behind what I am even studying for in the first place. When you are forced or instructed to do something you do not want to do or do not have any interest in, this can really dampen your spirit for any academic growth. So, because now I have purpose in revelation through both my own passions and the Holy Spirit side-by-side with God at the helm, this is what keeps the fire ablaze inside me to continue forward regardless of the outcome. It is not a something that can be quenched by anyone other than myself.
